Björksätraskolan is a multicultural F-9 school in the Björksätra district of Sandviken. You can easily and quickly reach us by public transport, and the school is also within walking distance from the central parts of Sandviken. We have proximity to forests and nature that we can use in our teaching. Within walking distance, there are also Göransson Arena, BJ Arena, and Parkbadet.

We are now looking for teachers for the autumn term of 2025:

For grades F-3 we are looking for:

• one Teacher grades 1-3, 100% permanent position
• two Leisure teachers, 100% permanent position

For grades 4-6 we are looking for:

• one Special teacher, 100% permanent position
• one Teacher grades 4-6, 100% permanent position
• one Teacher, temporary position ht25/vt26

The number of positions may change based on the organizational conditions at the start of the term.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your tasks involve individually and together with other educators at the school planning, implementing, and evaluating the work according to the school's governing documents. Your mission is to stimulate all students' development and learning, harness students' enthusiasm and curiosity, and work for a safe and accessible learning environment for all students.

Your responsibility includes creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are a role model for all students at the school.

We work in teams where we strive to be an attractive school with the student in focus in a safe and developing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who recognizes themselves in the following:

• Teaching degree and certification with qualifications for the position you are applying for
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• IT competence and experience in using digital tools
• Well acquainted with the governing documents of primary school

As a person, you easily adapt to changing circumstances. You can quickly change your perspective and see the opportunities in changes.

You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. By listening and communicating, you resolve any conflicts in a constructive way.

You have the ability to understand someone else's perspective or situation without taking over the person's feelings. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge, their different conditions, and can adapt your teaching accordingly. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.
